Six in Ascent captures six jets climbing in a tightly disciplined group, each leaving a nearly parallel white trail. The photograph freezes a distinctive moment in aviation, preserving the details of the aircraft and the vast openness of the sky.
Photographed during an aerial display, the vertical framing lets the bright lines of smoke rise from the bottom of the composition toward the aircraft. The surrounding sky gives the scene room to breathe, letting the lines, movement, and relationships between the aircraft define the image.
The title Six in Ascent reflects the central feeling of the photograph—unity and momentum at the moment of ascent. Rather than simply recording an aircraft in the sky, the image invites the viewer to appreciate the skill, energy, and visual artistry of flight.
Available as fine art prints in Metal, Acrylic, and Fine Art Paper, each medium offers a distinctive presentation of the image. Choose the finish and size that best complement your space.
Each print is professionally produced using premium photographic materials, with finishing and display options appropriate to the selected print medium.
Six in Ascent is part of our Aviation Collection, celebrating the engineering, motion, and extraordinary artistry of flight.
