Our Story
Nature-Prints began with something very simple: a husband and wife, a camera, and a love for getting out into the world together.
We’re Michael and Mileidy, and during the week, our lives probably look a lot like yours. We work, take care of our family, handle responsibilities, and look forward to the weekend.
But when the weekend arrives, we try to make it count.
Whenever we can, we grab the camera and head out in search of the places and moments that remind us just how beautiful the world can be. Sometimes that means chasing the last light of a sunset. Sometimes it means standing beside the ocean, exploring the mountains, traveling somewhere new, or simply noticing a scene that most people might walk right past.
Our story began in two very different places.
Mileidy was born and raised in Colombia, surrounded by a country filled with extraordinary landscapes, vibrant colors, mountains, coastlines, and natural beauty.
Michael is a California native who joined the United States Navy right out of high school, an experience that gave him the opportunity to see more of the world and helped create a lifelong appreciation for travel, adventure, and the outdoors.
Eventually, two lives that began thousands of miles apart came together.
Today, photography has become one of the ways we experience the world as a couple.
The images in this shop aren't selected from a stock library or created to fill space on a wall. They come from places we've actually been, moments we've actually experienced, and scenes that made us stop and reach for the camera.
That matters to us.
Why We Photograph
Photography gives us a reason to slow down, look closer, and appreciate places we might otherwise pass by.
We’re drawn to landscapes that make us stop for a moment—the last light across a canyon, an empty stretch of coastline, a mountain disappearing into the clouds, or a night sky filled with stars.
We photograph these places because of how they made us feel when we were standing there. Our hope is that when one of our images hangs in your home, a little of that feeling comes with it.
