Where Valor Endures studies the rusted barbette of the USS Arizona’s Turret No. 3 rising above the waters of Pearl Harbor.
Time, salt, and exposure have transformed the steel into layers of copper, amber, and deep brown. Sunlight crosses the weathered surface while the surrounding blue water remains in constant motion, creating a powerful contrast between the fixed structure and the living harbor.
The title honors what the surviving form represents. Though the vessel rests below, this visible remnant continues to bear witness—an enduring connection to the sailors, sacrifice, and courage remembered at Pearl Harbor.
Printed on premium metal with a White High Gloss surface, glossy acrylic, or Photo Rag Baryta fine art paper, Where Valor Endures can be ordered in a presentation suited to contemporary or traditional interiors. Each option is professionally produced by WHCC (White House Custom Colour) using premium materials selected for clarity, durability, and longevity.
Where Valor Endures is part of our Pearl Harbor Collection, celebrating the character, scale, and enduring beauty of the natural world.
Photographed and personally selected by Michael and Mileidy Van Fleet.
