Where the Earth Breathes watches a glowing volcanic crater release a vast plume into the dark Hawaiian evening.
Brilliant orange lava burns at the base of the frame, illuminating smoke and vapor as they rise into a muted red sky. The surrounding caldera remains nearly black, allowing the plume to become a living bridge between the fire below and the atmosphere above.
The title reflects the sense that the island itself is alive. Heat, light, and vapor emerge from deep within the earth in a slow, visible exhalation—an elemental moment of creation unfolding before the viewer.
