Into the Light captures the quiet mystery of Racetrack Playa in Death Valley National Park, where a solitary sailing stone rests beneath the brilliant desert sun. Its long track curves across the cracked playa, creating a natural leading line through the vast, open landscape toward the distant mountains.
The intense sunlight, deep blue sky, rugged mountain silhouettes, and intricate texture of the dry lakebed create a dramatic contrast between light and shadow.
